Tasty Recipes Links

I’m on the hunt… looking for recipes that I enjoy.  So now when I find one, if it was easy enough for me to put together (I’m a novice) and if I like it, I’ll post it here.  Either the actual recipe or the link to where I found it.  Some may be common or plain, but they all will be recipes I found to be really enjoyable.

First one:

Mini-Meatloaves from AllRecipes.com

These were simple to make and quick.  Less than an hour from start to dinner.  I served them with some garlic spinach and a nice loaf of french bread.  It actually looked like I knew what I was doing.  They were tasty.  The only thing I would change would be the sauce that you put on top.  A little too sweet for my taste, but they were still great.

4 out of 5 stars to AllRecipes.com

I Need Some Walls

April 7th, 2010

… some blank walls.

Walls that will be available 24/7.

Walls that the owner doesn’t care
                                  what gets painted on them
except that it will be interesting,
                                  funky and/or artistically weird .

Walls that won’t mind if
                    I don’t show for a week…
                     then work
                     9 straight
                    days in a row…

More than likely the subject matter will be cartoonish but then again not.

Walls?!?

Where are you?

Hypocrites bug me

March 20th, 2010

Merriam-Webster’s Online Dictionary (cool site) defines a hypocrite as

1: a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion
2: a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings

On the surface, these fakers, these poor elementary social fraudsters seem normal. But looking a little closer, these are the people who will do the following and think nothing of it.:

They flip you off as they drive by with a bumper sticker that reads “Have a nice day.”

They’ll quote “To err is human but to forgive Divine” from one corner of their mouth while from the other side they’re trashing you for a mistake you made over 3 years ago.

They’ll send you emails purporting the vurtues of a smile and positive attitude, but have no problem telling you how much of a pain you are to them.

Or tout they are a independent business person with upstanding references and then stiff you for money owed.  (What a pussy this guy was)

So is it they have double standards, or are they begging to be whacked upside the head?
